Cedar Manor Apartments

McKay Consulting was brought to the team by the owner to provide Surveying and Engineering services.  We worked closely with the architect and contractor to develop a site plan that met jurisdictional requirements and achieved owner goals.  The owner recognized the value of a large cedar tree central to the property.  The final site design included a pocket park to ensure access to and visibility of the tree for all residents.

McKay Consulting completed a design survey, assisted in site plan refinement, prepared construction documents (grading, storm water, sanitary sewer and domestic water) and provided construction staking.  This infill project was at a high point in the neighborhood with no nearby storm water facilities.  McKay Consulting analyzed several offsite storm water main extensions to identify the most cost effective alternative
