Johnston Residence

This project included the construction of a new house for an aging couple. The house was designed to provide wheel chair access through out the house. The architect brought McKay Consulting into this project to complete a boundary / topographic survey, complete a property line adjustment and prepare a grading / storm water plan.
The property owner had raised there family on a property with three legal lots. One lot has a house and the other two were used for yard and garden purposes. A property line adjustment was needed to reconfigure the properties to allow for the house construction and leave the third parcel in a desirable / developable shape. An additional equal area lot line adjustment was completed with a neighbor to move lots to match historic occupation lines. Corner markers were placed at new lot corners and a record of survey was filed with the county surveyor. |
